Push Down Bumper Springs and Leaf Bumpers - DDM Garage Doors

Push Down Bumper Springs start the door on the down cycle by pushing on the top of the door.

Jackshaft openers such as the Liftmaster 8500 or the 8500W turn the torsion shaft to operate the door. Under certain circumstances, it is advisable to use pusher springs to help the door close if the door cables come off the drums as the door begins to close.

Spring Bumpers stop the door from opening too far.

Leaf bumpers prevent the door from opening too far.
